Change of Ownership for Swan Districts Gymnastics Club
After nine years as owner of Swan Districts Gymnastics Club, Debbie Gough is taking a step towards retirement.
Debbie, a very familiar face across all forms of gymnastics, is looking forward to enjoying semi-retirement while watching the club flourish under new ownership. “I am so pleased that I have been able to find a person that is totally dedicated to Swan Districts to take on the ownership of the gym.” Debbie shared the news with Swan Districts members earlier this month.
Swan Districts will be led by Leanne and Jeff Sarich, long-time members and supporters of the club. Their like-minded approach and interest in maintaining a high standard of service made them the perfect match. Their family approach ensures the club can go on to achieve great things, thanks to the strong foundations that have been built since Debbie took ownership, almost a decade ago.
When asked about the change of ownership, Debbie said, “I wouldn’t have passed the gym onto anyone who didn’t know the workings of it. Leanne has had a passion for the gymnastics community and the sport. I feel that Leanne is the right person for this role.”
Of course, this isn’t goodbye for Debbie. She will continue coaching with the club and mentoring staff, providing education and delivering workshops.
Gymnastics WA would like to congratulate Debbie on her achievements with the club over the last 9 years and warmly welcome the Sarich Family as club owners to the Gymnastics WA community.
