Reminder - Fitness Industry Award
A reminder that next, Wednesday 2 December 2020, we will be joined by John Monroe, Senior Associate from K&L Gates who will talk us through how the changes to the 2010 Fitness Industry Award impacts you and your planning for 2021 and beyond.
As you may be aware, Gymnastics Australia has been working with other National Sporting Organisations and K&L Gates to advocate on behalf of our sport and clubs throughout the review of.
This review is now complete, and the 2020 Fitness Industry Award has recently been released.
This recent release incorporates all changes to the award up to and including 20 November 2020.

- Changes to the previous Award
- How you can operate effectively within the Award
And we will explore how the Award changes will impact:
- Attendance at competitions/events (state and national championships)
- Weekend work
- Working split shifts
- Casual coaches who work regular shifts
